Ludus Festival Leeds is a biennial performing arts festival run by University of Leeds School of Performance and Cultural Industries. For its launch year of 2012 a playful festival brand was developed to tempt the city to come out and play.
The Ludus namestyle – itself a playful jigsaw of exploded parts, was scattered across Leeds in brochures, posters and banners. In partners’ print and online it gave high visibility to a major new event on the international arts festival calendar.
It even came to life in punchy animated ‘festival idents’ on venue foyer screens throughout the city.
For the 2014 Ludus Festival, Andrassy Media updated the festival brand and created an exciting teaser concept to attract new audiences to festival events. Find out more....
